Residence Inn – Concord, NH

The Residence Inn by Marriott Concord, NH is the newest hotel in the Concord area. It’s located just off I-93, exit 13, on Hall Street. Look for the KFC… it’s just a block or two south of that.

This is an extended-stay hotel that has a relaxing homelike feeling. They feature fully equipped spacious suites that are 50% larger than traditional hotel rooms complete with flat screen TVs. Our room was clean and well maintained. Check-in was quick and the front desk was accommodating. The location is only minutes from the McAulliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, Capitol Center for the Arts and the downtown Concord shops and restaurants.  It’s also less than 30 minutes to skiing and to the New Hampshire International Speedway.

This Residence Inn is also within a short ride of the Manchester/Boston Regional Airport. If you’re visiting New Hampshire for business or pleasure including hiking, skiing, golfing or factory store outlet shopping, the Residence Inn Concord is the perfect base for exploring all of New Hampshire!

Holiday Inn – Concord, NH

The Holiday Inn is really the only chain lodging located in the downtown area of Concord so there are quite a few places to eat and shop nearby.

It’s an older hotel but has recently went through some major renovations. I’ve stayed here several times over the years and have always been satisfied. They offer amenities like free wireless Internet access, an indoor pool, sauna and whirlpool and a very nice attached restaurant… EJ’s on Main offers guests fantastic cuisine. There are also lots of great, one-of-a-kind eateries just a block or two away on Main Street. Great downtown location!

I recommend it.

Days Inn – Concord, NH

Located on I-93 at exit 12, this Days Inn is one of Concord’s oldest motels, but in very good shape. About a year ago they overhauled the property, including enclosing some of the outside hallways. Their rates are reasonable, and the rooms are clean and well maintained.

You will have to get in your car and drive a mile or two to grab a bite to eat or go shopping because there is not too much near the motel, there is however a Dunkin Donuts and Subway within walking distance.

The Concord area has several attractions including the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium and, if you’re a NASCAR fan, the New Hampshire International Speedway.

Staybridge Suites – Burlington, MA

Very Nice! Staybridge Suites is located directly across from Sheraton Four Points on a side street parallel to I-495. For the extra twenty bucks, stay here instead of the Sheraton. It’s quieter, and much better quality.

The hotel features an evening Sundowner Reception with light fare, a 24-hour BridgeMart store, a 24-hour Fitness Center and a host of other amenities. Whether you’re planning a brief or extended stay around greater Boston, we’re ready to welcome you with convenience and comfort today.

There are three large regional shopping mall nearby including the sprawling Burlington Mall as well as the usual surrounding stores and restaurants. Boston is about 20 minutes away.

Red Roof Inn – Concord, NH

This Red Roof Inn is located on NH Route 106, about 4 miles from downtown Concord. The property is about a half mile away from an excellent seafood restaurant, “Makris Lobster & Steak House”. If you’re not from the area and long for great fresh seafood, this is the place!

They have a free breakfast with limited choices, but the food was fresh. Coffee and orange/apple juices were available 24/7 and were also very good. They also have an indoor pool. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There are no restaurants or shopping within walking distance but you’ll find shopping about a mile away in and around the Steeplegate Mall. Plus, plenty of restaurants. The Red Roof Inn is one of the closest motels to the NH International Speedway.
