Hampton Inn & Suites – Pigeon Forge, TN
Hampton Inn & Suites on the Parkway, also referred to as River Road even though it is not near River Road, had dirty suites. We paid $1,088 for four days at the end of the season. Kitchenette was equiped with two pots, one frying pan and four plates. A call for additional kitchen equipment was ignored. Room, also, had no facial tissues at check-in. The kitchen floor and bathroom floors were dirty. The breakfast buffet wasn’t worth bothering. There were two adults and two children. The rooms were supposed to handle 8-10 people, well the kitchen could not even handle four of us. We enjoyed our stay at Pigeon Forge, but do think it is very commercialized and hard sell. Nothing is cheap! We had made reservations at this hotel, but they were switched to lesser accomadations at check-in to oblige a frequent visitor. Helen McDonald
