Fairfield Inn – Bangor, ME

My wife and I stayed at this Fairfield Inn for one night. Here’s our critique:

Pros: Big, comfortable, quiet, smoke-free rooms. Staffed 24 hours. Helpful portfolio of info in each room, has info on area businesses, etc. The beds were very comfortable. Vending, pool, fitness, and a decent continental breakfast. Reading by the front desk area’s propane fireplace was pleasant. They have a humidifier to borrow if the air’s too dry. Fairfield Inn is the ONLY lodging where I’ve actually slept well.

Cons: Pool was closed for cleaning the last time we went. Otherwise, haven’t really had a lousy experience there. Staff is mostly professional – always nice to us.
