The Wilmington Red Roof Inn is located about 1/2 mile north of I-95 Exit 4B. Red Roofs are reasonably priced establishments with a limited number of amenities, and this location is no exception.
Rooms are average, but the price is right. The motel is located on a frontage road that was not very well lit so a short walk before bedtime may not be the best way to wind down after a day on the road. There’s a Shoney’s and a Chili’s adjacent to the motel that you can walk to. The Christiana Mall, a large regional shopping center is about 2 miles away if you get the urge to spend some money.
Considering what you get for the money, I’d give this Red Roof a 6 on a scale of 1-10.
