Our trip was delayed 3 days due to Tropical Storm Bill. The reservationist coordinated slipping our dates, but said that our rates would double on the 4th of July. She said she would check with the manager to see if we could keep our original rates of $69/nt due to the unforeseen weather circumstances. She never called back. Before we left for N.O. on the morning of the 3rd, I called the hotel to confirm our rates and was told we would get the off season rate on the 3rd and have to pay full price ($139) on the 4th. When we got to the hotel, the manager said we had to pay the full price both nights. I told him what the reservationst told us that morning, and he said it didn’t matter because he was the manager and he wasn’t going to give us the off-season rates, even for the 3rd of July. He was extremely rude, even to the point of being hostile with us. He said it didn’t matter what the reservationist told us, that he had the final say on rates, and he wasn’t going to change his decision. We stayed anyway because it was late and we didn’t think we would find any other decent hotels for that weekend. The rooms were small but clean. The so-called "continental breakfast" consisted of plastic wrapped Danish, apples, and terrible coffee. Parking cost $10 per night.

NOT recommended. We had a horrible experience with management, and I definitely want others to know what to expect so you can avoid them.

Bottom line: Don’t trust management at this hotel. What they tell you over the phone is not reliable and will likely change when you arrive.
