Radisson Resort at the Parkway – Kissimmee, FL
The “Kissimmee Strip” (US 192) seems like an endless ribbon of shopping malls, hotels and gift shops and, although the Radisson Resort is located just off the strip, it’s in a far less hectic area. Their ads describe the property as “20 acres of tropical paradise”… a bit of a stretch, but the resort is relatively quiet and very nicely landscaped. I wouldn’t mind staying here all day while the rest of the family packs in the car and heads for the theme parks.
Like most large hotels (this one has 718 rooms) the resort is loaded with amenities. A giant free-form pool with waterfall (the kids will love the slide), whirlpool spa, fitness center with sauna, heated pool, pool bar, lighted tennis courts, gift shop, playground and more, this place has just about all you’ll need. The prices arn’t too shabby either.
Considering what you get for the price, I’d rate the Radisson Resort Parkway a 7 on a scale of 1-10.
