Loading ...Great motel. We need an accessible room that accomodates a wheelchair in a motel that accepts pets and this hotel is very comfortable and reasonable. We have stopped there twice a year for the past two years and have always been comfortable. Continental breakfast and a free copy of USA Today add to the convenience, and Shoney’s is right across the street.
Comfort Inn Gateway – Rocky Mount, NC
(1 votes, average: 3.00 out of 5) Loading ...We paid about $74 with taxes. The hotel was seemed modern and very well kept. The rooms were nice and clean. We went to the Outback for dinner located right next door and then the kids and I swam at the hotel pool. They have the basic free continental breakfast that was good enough to fill us up so we could get back on the road.
Jameson Inn – Roanoke Rapids, NC
(1 votes, average: 4.00 out of 5) Loading ...This is a beautiful new 2 story motel. It’s a great location and very close to resturants. The property and facilities are clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The only problem we had was the air conditioning unit kicking on and off all night, which kept us awake. (but then again this is my particular pet peeve with stop over places).
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites – Roanoke Rapids, NC

They offer free local phone calls, Complimentary continental breakfast Bar, 25" TV, and hairdryer/iron/board in all rooms. Also complementary USA Today. They have an outdoor pool and a fitness center too.
LaQuinta Crabtree Inn & Suites – Raleigh, NC
(1 votes, average: 4.00 out of 5) Loading ...LaQuinta Crabtree Inn is definitely the place to stay. As soon as we got to our room, we noticed we had a telephone message–from the staff welcoming us. Rooms were larger than your average hotel room, very clean ( our room looked as if we were the first persons to stay there),staff was great. The staff informed us that they had a special until the end of December- stay one weekend night, get the second night free. Two nights ended costing us $70.
