New Jersey
Days Inn – Wildwood, NJ
We stayed at the Days Inn in August 2004. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Desk staff was courteous and very helpful. Rooms (allsuites) were very clean and neat. Pots, Pans, Dishes, and Utensils were clean and usable, although we brought along our own disposable dishes and utensils. Maid service did a good job and was pleasant. Outdoor pool is very small though. Continental breakfast is offered,(Coffee, Tea, Juices, Danishes, Cold Cereals, and Cup of Soups. Great location, across the street from the boardwalk and new Convention Center.
McIntosh Inn – West Long Branch, NJ
This Inn is in the Long Branch/Eatontown/Fort Monmouth area. The room was clean and pleasant; the people there were nice. If you needed something, like another bar of soap, just ask the front counter and they will give it to you. They also have free coffee and pastries in the morning.
Summerfield Suites – Parsippany, NJ
I was very disappointed in this facility. I stayed there three times since the first of the year (and, by happenstance, got the same room twice). One of these rooms needed major repair/renovation" windows and blinds showed signs of water leaking in (rust spots), table and countertop had "char marks" on them, soap dish in shower broken off and stuck back up on wall with duct tape, only one remote (for three TVs), and so on. The chain is going to lose its reputation if it doesn’t look more closely at this place–and soon!
Travelodge – Cherry Hill, NJ
This Travelodge has good access from The New Jersey Turnpike, right at exit 4. If you’re just passing through, this Travelodge is very convenient.
Ramada Limited – Atlantic City, NY
This Ramada Limited is located on Blackhorse Pike. Our room had a hole in carpet and the lamp at the desk didn’t work. Saturday after housekeeping left they left 3 lights on and the curtains completely open when we came back late you could look in the window and see all of our personal items were exposed for everyone to see/they took the basket with the soap & shampoo and never let any new soap only about 6 foam cups so we had no soap or shampoo to shower with. Continental breakfast food, coffee and juice was really terrible. We threw what we had away and went somewhere else for breakfast.
