Golden Phoenix – Reno, NV
Do yourself a favor & stay somewhere else. Dealing with this hotel is one headache you don’t want when you’re on vacation. Hotel lost my reservation (made on the Golden Phoenix website, by the way). Once found, clerk handed me a bill for $100.00 more than website quoted. Clerk did not want to honor AAA discount (also available thru hotel website). I wonder why a hotel would offer on-line booking if it’s not going to honor the rates, dates, & discounts available on the website?
Tuscany Suites – Las Vegas, NV
The hotel was nice and the people at the front desk were very polite, however the people in the shop were rude the the the casino has some of the rudest people that I have ever met. Our room was not cleaned a couple of days in a row and when it was it was not cleaned very well no clean towels were left.
The Tropicana – Las Vegas, NV
Try and stay away from this resort. We booked our room 4 months in advance and when we arrived, no room! The front desk clerk (the *censored* with an attitude) told us that our reservation (which we had put a deposit on) did not guarantee us a room. If you must stay here because of the cheap rates, do not stay in the main casino rooms which are on the first floor. They are old and dirty.
Treasure Island – Las Vegas, NV
This hotel was great. Just relaxed enough to fell comfortable. The staff excellent. We were treated like Royalty. Our room had a great view and we didn’t even ask for it. Great location to everything on the strip.
San Remo – Las Vegas, NV
This hotel should NOT be advertised as a 3 star hotel….it is SOOOO far from 3, it should be a minus 1!! I booked this hotel through expedia with a package deal…and it was the worse experience of my life! When we checked in…the room had a roach on the ceiling and a bedbug in the bed!! YES ladies….a bedbug!! I saved it…and took it to the front desk demanding a new room. I had to threaten them with the better business bureau and the board of health to get another room.
