Seven Dwarfs Motel – Lake George, NY

Although very inexpensive, you get what you pay for.

The rooms and furnishings here are very dated. There is no in-room telephone service. The bathrooms are in need of repair and mildew removal. The “Breakfast” was a box of donuts from the grocery and were gone by 8 am. The maid service left something to be desired. On the upside, there is free wi-fi, the outdoor pool was nice and the employees were friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a place to sleep and don’t have a great deal of money – this will be fine.

Comfort Inn at the Pointe – Niagara Falls, NY

Comfort Inn at the Pointe is in an excellent location close to the falls (you can actually hear the falls from your window), the bridge to Canada and the state park. The hotel was very clean and the prices are not bad.

They only have a complementary “full American breakfast” that was not too bad. My only criticism… tours that are booked in the lobby are expensive. You’re better off going to visitor’s center which is across the street within the state park where you can get a Master Pass to major attractions or better yet pay individually as some attractions you can skip (ie. aquarium, discovery center).

Rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was good. Room prices were about average for hotels in the area. We would stay here again.

Comfort Suites – Clifton Park, NY

We had been driving for what seemed like forever to get to this Comfort Suites.

Our service here was great considering how busy they were when we arrived. The hotel staff was friendly and so helpful with every thing we needed. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Another nice thing about this hotel is that is a 100% non-smoking hotel. We’ve been to other where we’ve had a non-smoking room, but the rest of the hotel smelled like tobacco.

We had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Library Hotel – New York, NY

We recently stayed at the Library Hotel, a small boutique hotel in Manhattan, located one block from Grand Central Station. It’s an excellent location on 41st at Madison.

They have a very accommodating staff, and excellent room decor… very clean. They include a bountiful complimentary continental breakfasts and afternoon wine/cheese/snack selections.

We had a very pleasant 3-night stay last October. I highly recommend this hotel to friends, relatives and all.
