We got a good deal on Hotels.com and decided to stay at this hotel - right outside of Chicago (in a good area). The hotel looks very nice inside. There is also a pool and a fitness center, and the parking is free. It took us twenty minutes (at most) to get to downtown Chicago, and Evanston is very close by if you want to catch a quick meal outside of the city.

I travel to Chicago (and elsewhere) on a regular basis and this is the best downtown hotel I have ever stayed at..bar none. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and I have never had a problem that was not resolved immediately. The hotel is walking distance from excellent food and world class shopping on Michigan avenue. Across the driveway from the hotel is the House of Blue Restaraunt and music venue where you can see top musicians nightly.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I felt like I was visiting a shelter home. I paid a lot for this place. Very rude and unprofessional workers. Not worth your stay. There was an incident on 11/29/03 with a main water pipe bursting. There was no water, electricity. We were requested to leave the hotel using the stairway( 6 flight and no lights). Clerk stated that we will not be able to get any discount b/c it was a city problem.
