Radisson Resort at the Port – Cape Canaveral, FL
If you are planning a cruise out of Cape Canaveral, the Radisson Resort is a great place to stay before of after your trip. The resort is the closest to the port, only about a mile away and offers free parking while you’re on your cruise… which can save you quite a bit in port parking fees. They also offer a free shuttle service to and from the port.

StudioPLUS – Jacksonville, FL
Nice apartment-type hotel rooms with seperate kitchen that includes a full-size refrigerator, stove and microwave. Nicely appointed interior, clean, although a little worn. This StudioPLUS is located just off I-95 (Butler Boulevard) within a group of newer hotels that included a Red Roof Inn, Extended Stay America, Wingate Inn, Jameson Inn, LaQuinta, and Courtyard. This planned motel development area is extremely quiet but still a short drive to restaurants and shopping.
Tudor Hotel – Miami Beach, FL
My girlfriend and I found a room in three stars Tudor hotel on Expedia.com, so booked it for one week. Location was great as was promised, but actual rooms looked very ? different? from the ones we saw on the website. After getting to our room we checked the sheets (always check your sheets because many hotels don?t always change them) and we found pieces of some sort of potato chips. We asked the front desk what could be done, so she moved us to another room. The new room looked bigger and it had two clean beds (not that we asked for the extra bed). We unpacked and I went to take a shower were I found a melted chewing gum stuck on the top of the bathtub. Lady in the front desk responded that since it was late the housekeeper would clean everything next morning. The next day then we got back to hotel room, the room was cleaned, the chewing gum was still there but now it was covered with the fresh new towel. We had to call up the housekeeping manager so that stuff could be cleaned up.
