Loading ...If you are planning a cruise out of Cape Canaveral, the Radisson Resort is a great place to stay before of after your trip. The resort is the closest to the port, only about a mile away and offers free parking while you’re on your cruise… which can save you quite a bit in port parking fees. They also offer a free shuttle service to and from the port.

Homewood Suites International Drive - Orlando, FL
(5 votes, average: 4.00 out of 5) Loading ...They claim that it’s "the largest Homewood Suites Hotel on the Planet". 252 very cozy, comfortable one and two room suites. Every one has a dataport which came in real handy for checking my email. Nice courtyard pool, free breakfast buffet, evening reception with hors d’oeuvres and beverages, free local calls, free USA Today. Exercize room and free transportation to the major theme parks. They even have a free grocery shopping service!
Marriott Riverfront - Savannah, GA

The view from our riverfront balcony was awesome, seeing 7 - 8 story ships pass within a few yards was fun. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant, RiverEdge was great, with omlettes cooked to order in front of you, as well as Belgian waffles. The room was comfy, with a bit of elbow room at the two-part desk, a nice touch for those of us with laptops. Convenient to riverwalk, but the water taxi does NOT go to the Marriott dock any longer.
