This hotel was undergoing renovations last September when we spent 2 days before setting out on a cruise. Never again…

Check in was past 4pm. We arrived from the airport and were told to wait by the pool. Lunch for 2 (2 burgers, 2 beer and a margarita = $50 !!)

The hotel rooms were nice, BUT….. everyone rushes to check out by 11am and although there were 4 elevators, we waited 25 minutes to get down there in time… every single elevator that stopped at our floor was full. To top it all off, as we waited for our taxi, the fire alarm went off…. thank-goodness we were near the door.

The Quality Inn in Miami on NW 42nd Ave by the airport is a pit. The carpet throughout is filthy, worn, and buckling, the phone in our room had the buttons missing, our room had no clock or radio, the toilet leaked, we had a coffee maker but no coffee, and had to pay $1.00 per cup in the "foodcourt".

I’ve stayed at the Sierra Suites on International Drive in Orlando and stopped by here when I was in Lake Buena Vista. My conclusion? You can’t go wrong staying at either one. They are great hotels for the money! This Sierra Suites is located within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and shops.

Our family of four (two small children) stayed at this hotel 5/12/02-5/18/02. It is new and very clean. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. The breakfast buffet is somewhat misleading. It is essentially an "expanded" continental breakfast buffet. Also, DO NOT plan to use the hotel’s shuttle service! We waited the first day over an hour and it never showed up so we used our rental car for the remainder of our vacation.

We stayed at the Doubletree Suites in Disney Village, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was charming, and the decor was charming, fantastic if you have children with you. There is a huge atrium filled with tropical birds in the lobby, sure to keep the kids happy when watiting for an elevator… and it just looks so nice. The rooms were spotless, charming, and very comfortable.
